Elliott chases a victory at Watkins Glen, the first victory Cup
It was the first career victory, Elliott 99 Cup early, and 250th Hendrick Motorsport. Busch's day was ruined when Matt DiBenedetto done warning just past the race's midpoint. Probe the fire works at the next stop and the crew only had a few gallons of no. 18 Toyota. That forced him to once again, dropping him from contention after dominating the opening segment.
