Super Smash Bros. Ultimate will include 103 stages, stage morph feature

Super Smash Bros. game director. Ultimate Masahiro Sakurai announced several new additions to the title that came out today during Nintendo Direct, and one of the prominent features is the large number of stages that will be in the game.

There will be a total of 103 levels, arranged in the order in which they are presented in this series. We also showed our first performance on the New Donk City stage, inspired by Super Mario Odyssey.

Another new feature is something called Nintendo "level morph" which allows the final battle between different levels. You start at one level, there are transition effects on the screen, and suddenly you are struggling in a new environment. This is the function you need to activate yourself, because it seems the default is not active.
