Rachel Hundley's political career is a success story. The owner and former owner of a food truck was elected to the city council in Sonoma, California, at the age of 31, and two years later was appointed head of the region.
But when Hundley ran for re-election this year, he fell victim to a campaign of sexual segregation: Photographs of his underwear at Burning Man were posted on a website called "Rachel Hundley Exposed," according to Press Press Democrat.

Hundley is not back. On the other hand, he launched a video on Monday calling his owner to an embarrassing woman. "We believe that your behavior is immoral and unethical and has no place in our City," a message signed by "People for Peace and Cooperation" reads. "Sonoma requires moral and ethical leadership that our children can see, and our society can trust you. You don't measure."

Website builders were not identified, but they may have been motivated by local politics. As mayor, Hundley led a change in the urban process to appoint a planning commissioner, according to Sonoma News. Hundley reported the site to state and local governments. And he decided to react to the creator of the site openly. "Instead of challenging me to vote for me, this website only relies on unfounded accusations and harassment of women," he said. "The aim is to scare me, to reduce the strong voice of women by dropping me out of this election and denying you the right to make choices."
